Youth Outreach Ministry

The Southwood community is located in Charlottesville, off 5th Street Extended. During his time at Jefferson Park Baptist Church, Pastor Ben started an outreach ministry for kids living in Southwood.

Today, the ministry involves:

Tuesday Bible study every week with kids from Southwood and other communities. We do this in partnership with Jefferson Park Baptist Church.
Occasional trips and other activities to build stronger relationships with the kids.

It was been especially encouraging seeing some of the kids from the Southwood study turn to Christ and become believers. There are a few southwood-graduates that are now members of Mount View.
